Regional Channel Manager

The Regional Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives based on defined Geographic Territory. Implement channel programs to drive relevance for RAKEZ product line. Work with Channel Director and Relationship Managers to accelerate growth quarter over quarter to reach set targets. Document and report on all sales activities per designated territory including new partnership developments, sales forecast, pipeline and partner development activities

  • Manage and execute Monthly/Quarterly Sales Target for Assigned Territory via recruiting New Channel Partners.
  • Ensure proper translation of RAKEZ objectives, and create strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue goals through expanded Channel Partners; propose marketing strategies to identify effective distribution channels.
  • Manage Relationships with Channel Partners, minimizing Channel Conflicts
  • Initial training, enabling of the recruited Channel Partner, managing the handholding period to achieve the expected results committed by the Regional Channel Manager against that partnership.
  • Represent RAKEZ at Industry Trade Shows, Business Councils, Trade Associations to recruit new Channel Partners across the assigned Geographic Territory.
  • Regularly attend and actively participate in various events/campaigns webinars with the existing partners for lead generation in the UAE and internationally.
  • Regularly attend and actively engage with International Chambers, Consulates, Embassies in the UAE and internationally in order to promote the Channel Program and to expand current prospect database within specified business sectors and Geographic Territories. 
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of RAKEZ’s positioning vs. geographic and UAE competition in any given situation through research, industry contacts, personal networks, etc & provide competent market feedback
  • Draw on a range of communication styles and channels to achieve maximum impact with an audience, adapting own style accordingly to different interests; clear, persuasive, accurate, and focused on the needs of specific individuals and groups; explain even complex issues clearly and succinctly.
  • Demonstrate active listening to acquire a clear understanding of the needs and challenges of the contact to ensure a successful and long-standing working relationship that support RAKEZ objectives.
  • Is socially perceptive; fully understand when and how to negotiate, and adjust negotiations accordingly.
  • Cultivate innovation in the quest to help the channel partners effectively sell the products.
  • Is comfortable with and successful in negotiations of contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management; Finance; Law; Commerce. 
  • Certified Sales or Channel Management Professional.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of International Channel Management experience in a similar role demonstrating track record of success. Business Setup or Free zone experience preferred.
  • Excellent Fluency in English (Multi-Lingual is preferred).
  • Global Market-focused and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in strategies and techniques required for achieving target.
  • Possesses value driven consultative negotiating skills.
  • Responds well in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Presentation skills to Decision Makers and Business Owners
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and customer relationship management platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of advanced MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (experience of SalesForce an advantage).
